It’s all about the little things.
I would not give up the beautiful moments and acts of love I receive from Flavio for a million bucks. Unless I can get both, then in that case. Heck yes!
But what I am saying is, I have recently been thinking about how lucky, fortunate and blessed I am in every single aspect of my life. It ain’t perfect, but you know what? All you really need are two things: a healthy life and people to support your goals and dreams. I have both and wow am I lucky to have both.
There are days when we get caught up in the routine of work, like the annoying lady in the office, the douchebag that cut you off while driving back home, the rude cashier at the grocery store or the fact that you need to cook to eat and survive when all you want is a personal chef at your house.
I mean, don’t I sound like I’m just complaining my life away right now?
Let’s put it this way. First, thank god there is an annoying lady in the office because that means I have a job. Second, the douchebag cutting me off could have been a drunk driver crashing into me and killing me, but instead, it was just a douchebag who doesn’t look at his blind spot. Third, thank god I am able to do some grocery shopping when there are starving people asking for money down at the corner where the douchebag cut me over. If the cashier is in a bad mood, just say something nice and it’ll make her/his day! And last, how lucky am I to be able to get home and cook whatever I want for Flavio and I instead of ordering take out and eating home all alone.

Call your parents and tell them you love them. Call your siblings. Show your significant other how much you love him/her even when they drive you nuts. And take some donuts to that annoying lady in the office.
That’s all it takes and trust me, life can be as happy as you want it to be.
